FREEBIES Publishing Company feels that, and I quote; 'use of the word(s) "Freebies", "Freebie", "Freebees", "Freebee", and/or "Freeb" is also likely to confuse consumers'. I'm not clear on this, are they concerned that you may not be bright enough to know whether you are reading their magazine or surfing my site? I want to make sure that everyone understands that you are NOT at this moment reading a printed publication, this is an Internet Web site, and this site is NOT associated with FREEBIES Publishing Company.

Here are some interesting Web sites that are also not magazines and NOT associated with FREEBIES Publishing Company
Slug with Slime Trail
Blood Sucking Leeches
Maggot Infested Dung Pile
And please remember that these sites are in no way associated with FREEBIES Publishing Company.

AbsoluteFreebies.com - No such thing as a trademark-free domain?

UPDATE

The court cancelled the term's trademark registration.
"The 'Freebies' trademark is generic for items that may be obtained freely and thus cannot be infringed by the Internet domain name "freebie.com," the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia ruled Feb. 27 (Retail Services Inc. v. Freebies Publishing, E.D. Va., No. 02-1111-A, 2/27/03)."
